OUR STORY

Founded by acclaimed fashion photographer Amy Hibbard, Uzuri was born from a personal journey. When it was my turn to have my family photographed, I struggled to find a photographer who could truly reflect the refinement and sophistication I was seeking. The conventional family photography options often felt uninspired and cliché, portraying mothers in ways that didn’t align with their unique style. Not every mother wants to wear a flowing dress on the beach; many of us have stories that are deeper, and more unique.

As I embraced motherhood and the joy of raising my two daughters, my creative vision evolved. Drawing on my expertise in fashion photography, I found inspiration in editorial images of mothers that were both tasteful and aspirational—showing women and their families in a way that felt modern and elevated. These images were not only stunning but also meaningful. This passion led me to create Uzuri, where I could offer mothers the opportunity to experience family photography through a Vogue-worthy, editorial lens.
